STEERING GEAR APPLICATIONS
The
exclusive AGR Tri-Bearing, Billet Aluminum End Cap
and Billet Top Cover represent several engineering
breakthroughs in steering gearbox design. The AGR
TRIBEARING and Billet Top Cap reinforce the sector
shaft for precision handling and superior durability,
even under race conditions. The 6061-T6 BILLET ALUMINUM
END CAP AND TOP COVER aid in cooling the steering
fluid. AGR Racing Gearboxes are manufactured to
specifications that have been race proven over the
years. Each box has a safety wired top cover and
#6 JIC fittings installed. Ratio and valving combinations
can be ordered to tweek your vehicle for optimal
performance and handling.
3-BOLT BOX: Popular on IMCA and late model chassis.
4-BOLT BOX: Commonly used NASCAR type chassis, both
car and truck.
LARGE PISTON BOX: The 4-bolt box with a larger piston
for more hydraulic assist to compensate for high
cornering loads
REAR STEER BOX: This box is for use on a chassis
originally designed for a rear steer box.
STEALTH BOX: OEM appearance with a black painted
finish. Available in any of the above applications.
BUDGET BOX: The wrecking
yard alternative. We have selected the most popular
quick turn components and combined them in a box
for racers on a budget. This 3-Bolt box features
14:1 gear ratio, 3/4" input shaft and 210 valving.
